My philosophy on eating has changed drastically over the years. Starting with this blog journey, I am going to follow a plant-based diet focused on whole foods. These foods are full of vitamins, minerals, proteins, fats and all the energy I need to get me through the day. This way of healthy eating excludes meats, dairy and sugary foods. I keep my recipes as simple as I can with ingredients that are commonly found in any grocery store. I try to focus on recipes with foods that I know I like to eat. There is nothing worse than starting a diet and you are forced to eat foods you don’t enjoy. Nutrition is key for me. I know this way of eating will be hard at first, but I am ready to eat foods that are good for my body as well as my mind.
